The flyover near Dighalipukhuri will be constructed without cutting down any trees, as the Chief Minister has opted for modifications to preserve the greenery. Instead of extending towards Sualkuchi College, the flyover will now be redirected toward Lembu Road. The Chief Minister stated, "I had promised this, and I have fulfilled my promise. The Public Works Department had not planned to cut down any trees; some individuals were unnecessarily trying to create controversy. The statue of Lakshminath Bezbaroa at Guwahati Club will also remain in its place, with the flyover passing above it. Hiren Gohain is creating unnecessary controversy."
