A shocking kidnapping incident rocks Guwahati city as a father's extramarital affair with the domestic worker led him to abduct his own daughter. Biju Pegu, who resides in Trence Garden C-6 apartment of Beltola, allegedly conspired with his lover - a woman from Bonkora, with whom he had been carrying on an extramarital affair for two years. Enchanted by his lover, Pegu furbished an unsuspecting plan, taking his daughter from Guwahati to Lakhimpur in a bid to fulfill his plan.
The mother of the child, realizing that her daughter was missing, sent her complaint immediately to Dispur Police Station. Pursuant to case BNS 137(2) No.1218/24, police coordinated their efforts with Lakhimpur police in tracing down the suspects and successfully used mobile location tracking for the detection of the child at Buginadi, Lakhimpur, where both Biju Pegu and his henchman were apprehended.
It is during this investigation that police discover the mother's accusations are linked to a chilling conspiracy on the part of her husband and his mistress. The police investigation is ongoing and promises to bring to light further discoveries that will flesh out this case.
