Celebrations of Language Pride Week Radiate Brightly in Barpeta: Honour to Cultural Heritage!

The Barpeta District Library opened the Language Pride Week function from November 3 till November 9. Honourable Assam Minister, Home and Urban Development and Irrigation, Shri Ashok Singhal attended the inaugural function as a chief guest. Other dignitaries who graced the festival included Assistant Professor of Manikpur Regional College, Shri Ratul Pathak, Deputy Commissioner of Barpeta Shri Rohan Kumar Jha, and social activist Shri Anil Kumar Das. It was testimony that the community greatly reveres and honors the culture and language that it nurtures and preserves.
